Action speaks louder than words
To the editor: We are so fortunate to live in a nation that provides us the opportunity to express our opinions so easily. Over the last few months, our papers have been filled with opinions from both sides on many heated issues. Whether it was the open space transfer tax, the closing of the Bookstore or Breakfast with Santa, the letters poured in. Unfortunately, it is so easy to say what we feel but harder to make a difference. December has traditionally been accepted, religion aside, as a time of giving and January as a time of making new resolutions. We would like to ask everyone who is willing to take the time to express their opinion, to take the same amount of time to try to make a difference. There are so many ways we can help change our world. Volunteers are needed everywhere. Make your New Year’s Resolution “To Get Involved.” Anthony and Deborah Blomfield Warwick
