A moo-ving welcome to the neighborhood

To the editor: Yesterday evening I was relaxing with my newborn when I saw a heard of cattle wonder into my front yard. It was so surreal I had to do a double take before I knew what was happening. They could not seem to find their way to the Jessup Road so they keep wondering around the yard for more than half an hour. The were eating grass and trying to drink water out of a bucket that was filled with rain water. They could see me inside and came right up to the windows. It was a bit scary to see ten cows right up to your house starring at you. They finally left with the help of their owners and a couple of state police. I took the following pictures. They didn’t come out so great - I was trying to hold my newborn and take pictures at the same time. I thought it was quite a unusually sight, but we just moved to the area. Do things like this happen often? Lisa Grove Warwick
