To the editor: On Saturday, Nov. 3, our community came out in force to party in support of Jubilate, the Community Youth Choir of Warwick at Spring Brook Farm in Warwick. This acclaimed treble choir, which is in its second performing season, calls Warwick home. “A Voice Raising” was the group’s first fundraiser, featuring live bands from our area and delicious food and beverages donated by local restaurants. The afternoon, which was an “SRO” event, was a huge success, which garnered the group much needed funds to expand both their educational and performance activities. I join Jubilate Music Director David Crone, Assistant Director Steven Wing, Choir Manager Annie Barker and Father J. Scott Barker, rector of Christ Church ,and all of the members of Jubilate in sincerely thanking the many generous and talented friends and neighbors who made our first fundraiser a resounding success: Abbey Ice, The Acting Out Playhouse, Applewood Winery, Café a la Mode, Carriage Path Café, Country Chevy of Warwick, Country Saab of Florida, The Dautaj, Green Real Estate, Greetings and Salutations, Harvest Moon, Jo Hull and the Farmers Market, The Inkwell, Jean Claude’s Patisserie, Landmark Inn, La Petite Cuisine, Al Lewis, Teresa Mandracchia, Newhard’s, Peck’s Wine and Spirits, Pennings Farm Market, ShopRite, Shirley Stolling, Penny Steyer, Tuscan Café, Village Music, Zana D, Italian Villa, the Putnam Family, Marie Pennings, Deirdre Hamling and the gifted performers who generously entertained, including E’lissa Jones with Justin Rudy and Bea Bloom, Peter Holmgren, and Emish. Finally, we thank the parishioners and staff of Christ Church Warwick for their generous and ongoing support of Jubilate. With deepest gratitude, Joan Tirrell, member Jubilate Steering Committee
