10,000 points of lights

To the editor: The Warwick Valley Gardeners wish to thank all who made this year’s decorating of Railroad Green such a success. We heartily appreciate the efforts of the Department of Public Works and the Warwick Fire Department in hanging more than 10,000 lights. We also want to acknowledge the generous financial support of Bill Garcia from Allstate Insurance, the John W. Sandford Insurance Agency, Marie Green of the Green Team Insurance Agency, Leyland Development of Warwick Grove and the Seely and Durland Agencies. The Warwick Valley Gardeners always look forward to decorating Railroad Green Park for the holidays. It takes a true group effort to design and make the decorations, hang the lights, collect the greens and prepare the park in time for seasonal concerts, caroling, carriage rides and photos with Santa.
