Young craftsmen

Cub Scouts from Pack 44’s Webelos Den 7 worked on their craftsman badge with Judy Duboff from the Amity Arts Pottery Workshop in the Village of Florida. The boys learned how to hand build by making pinch pots as well as how to create different items with coils or slabs of clay. The artist also gave the fourth-grade boys a quick lesson on how to work on a pottery wheel. The boys had a great time and made some very useful and beautiful items.
