WVT Communications subsidiary changes name to USA Datanet

WARWICK — WVT Business Solutions, a subsidiary of WVT Communications, recently announced that it will now be known as USA Datanet. Formerly known as the Warwick Valley Telephone Company, WVT Communications, is a provider of voice, data, video and wireless services to residences and businesses in New York State and selected national markets. Last year the company completed the acquisition of USA Datanet, a Syracuse, New York based nationwide business telecommunications provider. Upstate and Downstate New York business customers previously served by WVT Business Solutions will now be served under the USA Datanet name. According to Duane Albro, president and CEO of WVT Communications, the company will continue to enjoy the same high standard of service and customer care that they have been accustomed to. There will not be any changes in the terms and conditions of their service agreements and they will retain their current contacts for billing questions and customer service. “The USA Datanet brand,” said Albro, “is widely recognized as a high quality product in our Upstate and national serving areas and has tremendous customer loyalty. To ensure consistency of our branding we are renewing the brand in Upstate New York and extending the brand to our Downstate New York customer areas. By using the name, USA Datanet, a WVT Communications company, we are capitalizing on both brands.” USA Datanet, he added, will also continue to provide the same solutions product portfolio, which includes Voice over IP phone service, Internet access, hosted email, data back-up, audio conferencing and electronic faxing.
