WTBQ joins as a patron sponsor for Warwick chamber business expo

WARWICK - Several local businesses and other organizations are soon coming on board as sponsors for the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce’s first business-to-business and business-to-consumer “Expo.” The event will be held Saturday, May 3, at the Warwick Valley Middle School. On Tuesday, March 4, Frank Truatt, owner of WTBQ Radio (1110 AM/99.1 FM) presented a symbolic check for $2,500 to Robert Krahulik, president of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce. The station, which will donate more than that amount in services, is now a patron sponsor for the event. The first sponsor and partner for the upcoming Expo was WVT Communications, formerly known as the Warwick Valley Telephone Company, which made a $7,500 contribution. ReMax Benchmark Realty Group also signed on early as an associate. St. Anthony Community Hospital and Provident Bank are also scheduled to become patrons.
