Warwick - Starting Monday, June 5, Albert Wisner Public Library will initiate a new policy for Internet use that will require a library card for access. In addition, card holders 10 to 17 years of age who wish to access the Internet also will be required to have a parent or guardian come to the library to sign a consent form which will be kept on file. At the same time software will be introduced that will manage the library’s Internet and public access computers including the online catalog. The new Internet Management Software will offer the following features: • Management of allotted internet time for users with on-screen alerts for remaining time. • Individual library accounts to fund and keep track of printouts with on- screen alerts for the number of pages to be printed. Library cards are free and available to all residents of the Warwick Valley Central School District.
