Wisner Library Board selects Donna Applegate as president

    WARWICKnThe Board of Trustees of the Albert Wisner Public Library elected new officers at their annual re-organization meeting on July 1. For Fiscal Year 2004/2005 the new officers are: Donna Applegate, President; Tony Lampazzi, Vice-President; Joan Noonan, Secretary. The new committee chairs are Regina Wittosch, Building and Grounds; Anthony Lampazzi, Finance and Margaret Bogdanski, Personnel. At the meeting outgoing President M. Lynn Pike was commended for his leadership on the Board for the past two years. During that time, the library made significant progress with work on a new library, including the preliminary design work and efforts to secure land for this project. Roslyn Fasset was also thanked for her work as Secretary/Treasurer. Newly re-elected Board Members, Roslyn Fassett and Donna Applegate were also sworn in as Library Board members at the meeting. "We have a lot of talent, energy and commitment from all our Board Members," said Rosemary Cooper "and we are in a good position to tackle the important work ahead of us. Library Board members make a huge commitment to the community and we are fortunate that all our Board members are committed to meeting the challenges we face to providing the highest level of service we can."
