William Froelich Foundation gives $5,000 to Beautiful People

Warwick - Beautiful People baseball players and friends recently gathered at the Warwick Beautiful People office to receive a $5,000 donation from the William Froelich Foundation. The gift was presented by Foundation Board Member David Rimmer. Before Froelich’s passing a few years ago, he was a long time supporter of acem In Terris, frequenting Warwick from his homes in New York and Saba Island in the Dutch Caribbean. The foundation supports a wide variety of artistic, environmental and community-oriented causes. “We know that Bill would approve of the great services being provided to these wonderful kids by Jan, Peter and the Beautiful People organization and we are very glad to be a part of it,” said Rimmer. Beautiful People, provides adaptive sports to children with disabilities. It currently provides baseball, soccer and many off-season activities throughout the year and serves over 100 families in Orange County.
