The station helps detect areas of nerve disturbance, documents and monitors results, and helps the chiropractor to deliver the appropriate care. The purpose of the test is to detect abnormal function in the nervous system which cannot be seen by x-ray. A “subluxation” indicates a vertebra is out of place and putting pressure on the central nervous system, considered the “master controlling system” of the body. A disturbance in the system causes malfunction in the body, including sensory, motor, and autonomic changes. By utilizing the Insight, the chiropractor is better equipped to monitor a patient’s progress and adjust his care according to test results. In addition to chiropractic care, the center offers natural healthcare alternatives such as active release techniques, massage therapy, Reiki, biofeedback, psychotherapy, sound therapy and acupuncture.
