Warwick volleyball raises $450 for the American Cancer Society

Warwick — Junior varsity volleyball players Erin Byrne and Rachel Janes put together a volleyball tournament on Nov. 9 in the Warwick Valley High School gym to raise funds and awareness to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Fund. More than 200 students participated and $450 was raised for the American Cancer Society. “This was a great job by these junior student-athletes,” Athlete Director Gregory Sirico said in his press release announcing the fund-raising effort.
