Warwick Valley School District hosts student and staff recognition program on Jan. 3

WVHS Class of 2011 graduates named as AP Scholars also invited Warwick — The Warwick Valley School District will hold a student and staff recognition night with the Board of Education on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m., in the high school auditorium. The district will honor the outstanding accomplishments of students and staff from this past fall with a recognition ceremony followed by a reception with light refreshments. Among those being recognized are Orange-Ulster BOCES students, students with Eagle Scout and Girl Scout projects, Interact Club members, Scholar-Athletes and AP Scholars. All honorees who are current Warwick students have been notified and invited to attend with their parents. The school district also has reason to celebrate the accomplishments of some former Warwick students. The school district would also welcome AP scholars from the Class of 2011 who may be home in Warwick as well as their families as part of the ceremonies.
