Firefighters’ tree-lighting ceremony set for Nov. 24 Warwick - The Warwick Fire Department will host its annual holiday tree-lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 24, at 6 p.m. The event will take place on the grounds of the Old School Baptist Meeting House on High Street in the Village of Warwick. The Warwick Historical Society has generously allowed the department the use of a magnificent setting for this seasonal tradition. Warwick Brownie Troop 299 and the Warwick Girl Scouts will be on hand to entertain with carols of the season. After the lighting of the tree, Santa will arrive by fire engine with treats for the children.
