WARWICK-Warwick Valley Gardeners will hold their twelfth annual Garden Tour on Saturday, July 9 (rain date, July 10). The tour includes six gardens in diverse styles and sizes, including a poolside garden, an English sculpture garden, and a perennial garden with more than 1,000 varieties of plants. The self-guided tour will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning at Railroad Green Park (corner of Main St./Oakland and Railroad Ave). Tickets can be purchased for $12 the day of the tour. A plant sale at the park will offer annuals and perennials, including plants donated from members' gardens. The Warwick Valley Gardeners is part of the Federated Garden Clubs of New York and a member of the National Council of State Garden Clubs. The club has created and maintains nine public garden sites within the Town of Warwick. All proceeds from the tour and plant sale are returned to the town through community projects. The club is looking for gardens for the 2006 tour, to be held in early June. To suggest a garden, call Lori at 986-0314.
