Warwick to recycle computers

    Warwick —Warwick town residents will have the opportunity to recycle their old computers from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Kings Highway. Ben Hutchison of Warwick Boy Scout Troop 45 is organizing the day for his Eagle service project. He is a 2006 graduate of Warwick Valley High School and in the fall will attend Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he will major in mechanical engineering and computer science. Participants will be asked to complete a registration form. There is no fee, but donations will be accepted to defray project costs. Additional donations will be given to Troop 45. Town residents can bring all computer equipment, including monitors, CPUs, towers, printers, and scanners. No televisions will be accepted. This event is open to residents only. Businesses and organizations interested in recycling computers should call the Orange County Recycling Office at 1-800-328-4808.
