Warwick to host aging programs public hearing
WARWICK-The Orange County Office for the Aging will hold a public hearing on the draft of the four year plan for the Older Americans Act, New York State Community Services for the Elderly, and New York State Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Programs. Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana said all senior citizens, service providers to older adults in Orange County, other interested parties, and the general public are invited to attend the event at the Warwick Town Hall at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3. The public hearing will be held in conjunction with the Town of Warwick Senior Club meeting. A briefing will be presented on the draft of the Annual Implementation Plan prepared by the Office for the Aging and comments will be subsequently solicited. An Abstract of the Annual Implementation Plan will be posted on the Internet by Nov. 1. The Abstract can be viewed on the Orange County web page, www.orangecountygov.com.
