Warwick Police

Feb. 11 • Elijah Defreese, 28, of Florida, was charged as a fugitive from justice following the execution of a warrant from the West Milford Police Department. He was arraigned by Warwick Town Justice Peter Barlet and sent to the Orange County Jail without bail. Feb. 12 A 17-year-old female from Warwick was charged with petty larceny following an incident on State Highway 94. She was released to reappear in town court. Feb. 13 • Donald Kalinich, 52, of Vernon, N.J., was charged as a fugitive from justice following the execution of a warrant from the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department. He was arraigned by Warwick Village Richard Farina and remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail. • Robert J. Blenis, 30, of Warwick, was charged with third-degree assault following an incident Main Street. He was released to reappear in village court. Feb. 15 • A 20-year-old male from Warwick was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal impersonation following an incident on Colonial Avenue. He was arraigned by Warwick Village Justice Richard Farina and sent to the Orange County Jai in lieu of $2,500 bail. Feb. 17 • A 19-year-old male from Warwick was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident on Clinton Avenue. He was released to reappear in village court.
