Warwick man named to Ashland fraternity

    Warwick - Warwick resident Bruce Mason is a member of Ashland University’s Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Phi Delta Theta was honored by AOPHA, the advocate for not-for-profit services for older Ohioans, with the Volunteer Service-Group Award for its service with The Good Shepherd Home in Ashland. The award was presented Sept. 26 during the AOPHA 2007 Annual Conference and Trade Show. The volunteer work done by Phi Delta Theta for The Good Shepherd Home includes cleaning up the grounds, hanging seasonal lights, assisting with Halloween and Easter programs and helping with the annual volunteer banquet. Mason is the son of Bruce and Mary Mason of 36 Fox Hill Lane. He is a freshman at Ashland University and is a 2007 graduate of Warwick Valley High School.
