Warwick in photos

WARWICK — To honor its upcoming centennial in April 2006, the Historical Society of the Town of Warwick will take prepublication orders for the first-ever book of historic photographs of the town. The book will have nearly 600 photos from all over the community, including the different hamlets and villages, daily life, business and industry, railroads and more. Most have never been published before. The hardcover book, designed volume by Keene Publishing, is in a large format of 8½ x 11 inches, with 240 pages of high quality black and white photos and historical notes. The book will be mailed in March 2006. The book is $24, plus $3 for shipping. Forty percent of the cost, when bought directly from the historical society, will go to preservation programs.
