Warwick in Bloom makes the seasonal change

Warwick - As swiftly as a scene change in a Broadway play, volunteers from Warwick in Bloom and the Warwick Valley Gardeners have quietly replanted planters along Main Street that adorn the Village of Warwick and Town Hall, transforming the colors and textures of a summer palate into winter’s evergreens, silvers and burgundies. Gone are the tall cannas, with bright summer orange petals, that had silently observed shoppers along Main Street and nearby roads. The new planters reappeared, right on cue, with wreaths adorning the street lights and sides of buildings. They are Warwick’s reminder to Holiday shoppers that the spirit of giving and sharing is always present. Warwick in Bloom is an independent, non-profit group of volunteers interested in beautifying the community and educating area residents about improving the quality of life. They share gardening ideas and information with people throughout the region.
