Warwick Democrats to host hurricane relief effort at Applefest

WARWICK-The Warwick Town Democratic Committee has established a collection center at Warwick's Applefest to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Democrats will be receiving donations at their booth on Railroad Avenue on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds will go to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. In addition to the relief effort, the Democratic Committee will have voter registration forms available and local Democratic candidates will be on hand to meet the voters, discuss the issues and distribute information about their campaigns.
