Warwick Democrats hold Meet & Greet' on May 7
Warwick - The Warwick Town Democratic Committee will host a town wide “Meet & Greet” at the Tuscan Café in the Village of Warwick on Sunday, May 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. The committee is inviting Democrats from Florida, Greenwood Lake, Warwick and Pine Island to join them for an informal gathering to meet newcomers to Warwick, rekindle old friendships and share news about the committee’s goals and activities for 2006. Light refreshments will be served. “We are excited about the growth of the Democratic Party in Orange County,” said Committee Chairman Steven Carras. “As we look forward to the 2006 and 2008 elections, now is the time for Democrats to get together on the local level.” Guests will include Michael Edelstein, a professor at Ramapo College and the Democratic candidate for Orange County Executive in 2005, and the Michael Newhard, Village of Warwick mayor. Information about local and state government and elected representatives will be available.
