Warwick boutique donates $2,000 to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Warwick - B. Page & Co. will present a $2,000 check to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a result of its successful two-day “Shopping Days for Cystic Fibrosis” event held Sept. 12-13 at its boutique in Warwick. Owned by Brooke Martis-Sarmiento and her husband Gerald, B. Page & Co. donated 15 percent of all sales made during the event to the CF Foundation in honor of the Bewlay family and their daughter, Sydney, of Tuxedo Park. “After meeting the Bewlay family and their amazing daughter Sydney, we knew we wanted to find a way to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,” Martis-Sarmiento said. “Seeing Sydney so vivacious and full of charisma, we wanted to do everything we could to ensure that she and other children with CF live the longest, healthiest lives they can.” Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease affecting tens of thousands of children and young adults. Founded in 1955, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is committed to ensuring a brighter future for those with the disease. Shoppers were treated to wine and hors d’oeurves as they browsed through the array of Martis-Sarmiento’s collection of new fall young and contemporary designer sportswear, footwear, handbags, and accessories from top American designers such as Norma Kamali, Citizens of Humanity, Hayden-Harnett, Alexis Hudson and Erin Snow. B. Page & Co., The Best of Everything, is located at 28 Railroad Ave. in the Village of Warwick. For information, call 845-987-8004.
