Warwick Beach open for the season

The Warwick Town Beach, recently renamed the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park, is now officially open through Sept. 4. The picturesque beach, at the end of Windermere Avenue on the north end of Greenwood Lake, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The park offers a sandy beach, lifeguard, children’s play area, volleyball court and bathroom facilities. Daily admission for residents is $3 and $7 for non-residents. Season passes are available. Call 986-1124, ext. 298. (Photo by Roger Gavan)
