Village of Warwick schedules trash pickups on April 14 and 21
Warwick - The Village of Warwick has scheduled spring pickup of household items on April 14 and 21. These items include such things as: furniture, mattresses and rugs. However, the village crews will not pick up garbage, leaves, brush, tires, barrels, paint, drain oil, newspapers, construction or building material, televisions, computer equipment, appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers or stoves. The village will be divided into two areas: n The week of April 14: High Street, Church Street, Forester Avenue north of the railroad tracks, Colonial Avenue, north side of Grand Street to the corporation line of Locust Street, Maple Avenue and all streets within the area. South side of West Street to the corporation line and Division Street, Howe Street and all streets within this area to the west side of Oakland Avenue and including Campbell Road. n Week of April 21: East side of Oakland Avenue to Forester Avenue at the railroad tracks to Galloway Road on the north side. South side of Galloway Road, Homestead Village area, Hawthorne Avenue, Overlook Drive, South Street Extension and Southern Lane to the corporation line of Brady Road. Gordon Terrace and Ridgefield Road. All items must be at the curb on the Monday of the week your area is scheduled for pick-up by 7 a.m. Once the area has been picked up, there will be no return trips.
