Veterans Day vigil

The Warwick Women in Black held a special Veterans’ Day vigil for peace at Lewis Park in Warwick on Saturday, Nov. 11. “This Veterans Day, we remember all of the men and women of the Armed Forces who have risked and given their lives and stand in hopes for a peaceful tomorrow,” said member Alice McMechen. Warwick Women in Black will next stand vigil at Lewis Park opposite the Clocktower on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 1 p.m. For information, call 258 4645.
