Veronica Mary Baird Simcik, 1948-2005

Florida - Veronica Mary Baird Simcik of Florida died Thursday Aug. 25, 2005, at home. She was 57. The daughter of William and Margaret Riley, she was born on Feb. 3, 1948, in Brooklyn. She was a member of American Legion Post 1250 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Simcik is survived by her parents, Billy and Margaret Riley, of Floral City, Fla.; her husband, Jerry Simcik, of Florida; her brother, Charles Riley, of New Derry, Pa.; her two sons, Mark R. Baird and Christopher Simcik of Florida; her grandchildren: David, Christopher, Kaylee, Dakota and Taylor, all of Chester; her nieces Shannon Mazzoni and Keegan Watson of Pennsylvania; her two sisters-in-law: Debra Riley and Arlene Zak; her great niece Riley Watson and her great nephew Jake Watson. Funeral services were held Aug. 29 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida. Burial was in Hamptonburgh Cemetery in Campbell Hall.
