Upcoming parenting workshops

    Cornwall — Workshops to help pass the time with your children and enjoy the outdoors will be presented during some upcoming Wednesday evenings at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum. A lecture, “Making Quality Time Count: Fun Ways to Incorporate Learning in your Everyday Lives” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24. Learn and try out some quick and easy ways to support and encourage your child’s education. Combating Nature Deficit Disorder in our children: Learn how to help your family reconnect with nature will also be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Learn crafts, activities and games that will encourage your family to get outdoors. The workshops will be presented at the museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center Location, 20 Kenridge Farm Drive Route 9W, in Cornwall. Registration requested, $5, Members, $2.
