Union State Bank donates $5,000 to Winslow Therapeutic Center

Central Valley Union State Bank will act as lead sponsor for the Winslow Therapeutic Center’s “Denim, Diamonds and Dreams” gala, to be held this fall at the Falkirk Farm in Central Valley. Union State Bank recently presented a check for $5,000 to Winslow Therapeutic Center, which runs an award-winning therapy program at its Warwick-based riding stables, helps children and adults with special needs develop self-esteem and physical confidence through horseback riding. Raymond Crotty, president and chief operating officer and William O’Neil, SVP, commercial loan officer presented the donation check on behalf of Union State Bank to Christine Tawpash, executive director of Winslow Therapeutic Center. Also present were Carla Corts of Falkirk Farm and Olympic equestrian champion Todd Minikus. “Union State Bank’s donation will be put to good use,” commented Tawpash, in accepting the donation. “At Winslow Therapeutic Center, we will be able to provide tuition assistance to children and adults with special needs. Riding horses is a remarkable way to develop physical, cognitive and emotional needs.”
