Aug. 19 A juvenile male from Tuxedo was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony; one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a violation, and after a traffic stop. He was released on $300 bail. Farhan Javed, 19, of Tuxedo, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, after being stopped at a vehicle safety checkpoint. He was released on his own recognizance. Aug. 21 Joseph Shultis, 26, and Cheryl Shultis, 24, both of Saugerties, were charged with disorderly conduct, a violation, after police were called to the scene of a domestic dispute at the Renaissance Faire. Additionally, Joseph was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and Cheryl was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. They were both released on their own recognizance.
