Treated, released, ticketed

This one-car crash on Tuxedo Mountain got one Warwick man some injuries as well as a little trouble. Mark Meeney, 53, of Warwick, was heading over the mountain at 6 p.m. Monday, April 9, when he lost control of his car, hit a utility pole and a rock wall, and then rolled over. The Greenwood Lake Fire Department was on the scene and Meeney was transported by the Greenwood Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corps to St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick for face and neck injuries. However, Meeney was charged with failure to keep right, operating an unregistered vehicle and driving with a suspended license, according to Warwick Police Lieutenant Thomas Maslanka. There was no indication that speed was involved, he added. (Photo provided by Ed Bailey)
