Town has openings on four boards

Warwick - The Town of Warwick has openings on the Conservation Board, Kings Estate Advisory Committee, the Planning Board and the Architectural Review Board. Anyone with interest should send a letter to Town Supervisor Michael P. Sweeton at 132 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY 10990 by Monday, Dec. 18. In other town business, Sweeton offered the following: • “I would like to thank the Warwick Historical Society and the Warwick Valley High School History Club for the wonderful bronze plaque commemorating our Revolutionary War Veterans that now holds a place of honor in our Town Hall lobby. It joins the other tributes to our many heroes that have served in conflicts over the years. Thanks also to all those who donated to this effort.” • “It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Town Historian Florence Tate. Tate, with her quiet presence, diligently protected and preserved the rich history of our Town. She will be missed by all she touched in the many years of service to our community.
