Town Beach opens, bus begins

GREENWOOD LAKE - The Town Beach at the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park is open for supervised swimming on weekends from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Monday, June 25, when it will open seven days a week, according to information from Supervisor Michael P. Sweeton. Summer bus service to the Beach is available Mondays and Thursdays from throughout the Town. The schedule is as follows: Monday and Thursday: • from Florida (Village Drive), 11 a.m. • Pine Island (Citgo), 11:15 am • Warwick (CVS), 11:30 am • Greenwood Lake (CVS), 11:45 a.m. Arrive Town Beach: Noon Depart Town Beach: 4 p.m. The bus costs $1 each way or 50 cents for senior citizens. Beach fee admission is $3 daily for Warwick residents, $7 for non-residents; a senior pass is $25 for the summer.
