Members of the Greenwood Lake Fire Department assist emergency medical workers to move John Reilly, a 37-year-old Greenwood Lake resident, aboard a helicopter to be airlifted to Westchster Medical Center in Valhalla on Wednesday, Aug. 29. Authorities said Reilly hit his head in a watercraft accident with friends, who pulled him from the water. The firefighters created a landing zone for the helicopter in a field next to the shopping center in the village by marking the area with hand-held lights. (Photo by Ed Bailey)
