Three Sugar Loaf Sunday benefit socials begin Jan. 29

    SUGAR LOAF — A series of three Sunday suppers featuring local grown food and entertainment to benefit the Alamo Farm Workers Community Center begins this Sunday, Jan. 29, at 4:30 p.m. at the Seligmann farm in Sugar Loaf. The series is sponsored by Warwick’s Community 2000, the Orange County Citizens Foundation and the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health. Here’s the schedule: Jan. 29: Stone soups and stews. Feb. 26: Local heritage. March 25: Family traditions. Tickets are $35 per person for a single event or $100 for all three.
