This Saturday, Leo Kaytes Ford hosts 'Drive One 4UR School' program

Warwick — Test drive a Ford on Saturday and the Ford Motor Company will donate up to $20 per test drive to the Warwick Valley School District. The event, sponsored by Leo Kaytes Ford for the third year in a row, will take place Saturday, Sept. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Warwick Valley High School. In the last two years the "Drive One 4UR School" program has helped raise more than $11,000 for the athletic department for the Warwick schools. "All it takes is 15 minutes of your time - come test drive a Ford and Ford Motor Company will donate $20," said Leo R. Kaytes in a press release announcing the program. "There are no strings attached - it costs the community nothing. "We have now done four of these fund raisers and we have raised a lot of money for our local school systems, Kaytes added. "It is a way for Ford Motor Company help out communities during these difficult times." Leo Kaytes Ford has sponsored "Drive One 4UR School " programs at Warwick twice, raising money for uniforms, girls softball dugout, scholar athlete breakfast and entry fees for meets. Leo Kaytes Ford has also helped Vernon High School with raising money for scholarships and Chester High School help start their wrestling program. This year the dealership also have an added bonus: Warwick Valley High School communication students will be doing their part by doing a video for Ford to add to the money donated. During the program, refreshments donated by ShopRite in Warwick also will be available. Anyone 18 years or older with a valid New York State driver’s license is eligible for the free test drive.
