Third annual Festival of Trees starts Nov. 20

WARWICK - The third-annual Festival of Trees to benefit Warwick Healthcare Campus of Bon Secours Charity Health System will be held Monday, Nov. 20, through Saturday, Dec. 2 at Schervier Pavilion, 22 Van Duzer Place. The festival showcases decorated holiday trees and wreaths which are voted upon by visitors attending the event and made available for purchase through silent auction bidding. The event benefits St. Anthony Community Hospital, Schervier Pavilion and Mount Alverno Center, and is coordinated by chair, Deborah Krol, with Judy Gleason and Eileen Patterson. This year, the festival will feature a sparkling array of 18 five-foot trees, 10 two-foot tabletop trees and 15 24-inch wreaths in the lobby of Schervier Pavilion. Decorating will begin on Nov. 19 with the event wrapping up at 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 with the last votes tallied for best design and auction bids penciled in.
