They're all ringers

Florida — It’s that time of year again for friends and families to get together and compete in a friendly game of horseshoes. This year’s tournament had beautiful weather and a great turn-out of 26 participants. On Sunday, Sept. 23, 13 teams played in an intense double elimination tournament with great horseshoes thrown by all. This year’s first place bragging rights went to Jeff Williams and Dennis Gallagher, second place to John “JC” Conklin and Dell Benjamin, and third place went to Tom Matuseski and Ed O’Dell. The tournament was organized and run by Jim and Patty Goodrich with the help of the Village of Florida.
