The Year of the Dog

Central Valley —To celebrate the the lunar new year 4704, the Orange County Chinese Association and Chinese School in Central Valley last Saturday offered a free program of traditional dance, tai chi and magic, with many students from school performing. School Principal Dongzhou Liu estimated 700 to 800 turned out for the program. This is the Year of the Dog, and those born under this sign are said to be faithful and brave. Famous dogs include former President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush. If you can divide your age by 12, you, too, are a dog.
