The veterans of Post 4662 celebrate the holidays

Warwick VFW Post 4662 held its Christmas party Tuesday evening at the Warwick Firehouse in town. Most of the members of the Post are veterans of World War II, but there also are members who have served the country in Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Operation Iraqi Freedom. At 97 Ed Cassin is the Postís oldest member; he served in the infantry in France and Germany during the Second World War. He is a retired New York City Mounted Police officer.
