The Pulaskis’ 22nd annual breakfast was held last Sunday at the fire house on County Route 1. • 3,500: Pancakes served during the five-hour event, which began at 7:30 a.m. • 1,500: Income in dollars after expenses. • 1,440: Number of eggs served in one form or another. • 581: People paying $6 (admission was $5 for senior citizens, $4 for kids) to attend this all-you-can-eat extravaganza. • 300: Pounds of potatoes consumed - all in the form of home fries. • 275: Omelets served. • 190: Pounds of sausage served. • 50: Increase in pounds in potato consumption over last year’s breakfast. • 38: Gallons of orange juice on hand at the start of breakfast. • 25: Gallons of pre-mixed pancake batter used. • 4: Gallons of syrup needed to sweeten all those flapjacks. • 1: Gallons of OJ left over after the last guest went home.
