Pictured are some of the Tween and Youth volunteers who teamed together to get MAD during July, and “M”ake “A” “D”ifference in the community. Based out of Warwick Reformed Church, this ecumenical group of kids chose to focus their mission efforts locally. They labored to refinish decks for two senior citizens; baked dog treats and delivered them to the Warwick Animal Shelter; weeded the Sanfordville Elementary 9/11 Memorial; made and delivered dinners for shut ins; had a food scavenger hunt to benefit the Warwick Food Pantry, then helped sort the food; and entertained residents at Schervier Pavilion. More events are planned for late August. If you know someone who also wants to get MAD and Make A Difference in our community, call Warwick Reformed Church at 986-4517.
