The grass just got greener

Kevin Shuback of Shuback Sod Farm in Goshen delivers a pallet of sod for the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park in Greenwood Lake this week. It’s part of a donation of 16,000 square feet of sod - as well as the labor to install it - at the town park. “It was a very, very generous gift,” said Warwick Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton. “This is the crowning achievement to this year’s beach renovations and rebuilding of the old ferry landing arm.” The town beach is set to open Memorial Day weekend and every weekend until school is over; then it is open daily until Labor Day.
