The gardens at the Warwick Reformed Church

Six-year-old Madeline Nokland waters her little garden that has her own sign “Madeline’s Garden” at the Warwick Reformed Church gardens in Warwick last Sunday. Church members can plant their own garden, which is protected from deer and similar intruders is by a high fence. Madeline has planted tomatoes, lettuce, green beans, cucumbers, cantaloupe, watermelon, cabbage, corn, carrots and sunflowers. She also looks at the new tomatoes that Rev. Michael Otte shows her from the garden. Her mother Laura looks on.
