The end of an era

It’s the end of an era — the original Big V ShopRite Supermarket has been demolished, making way for a new 6,800 square foot Quick Chek convenience market, complete with gas station. The Village of Florida has been without a supermarket since 2002. The Big V Supermarket was in Florida for over 40 years before closing. Big V corporate headquarters is the part of the building that will remain.
