Thanksgiving service on Nov. 21

Washingtonville - An ecumenical Thanksgiving Service will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Goshen Street in Washingtonville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21. Anyone who would like to sing in the choir should attend a rehearsal at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 20 at St. Mary’s. The community is invited to attend this special service of worship. The Blooming Grove United Church of Christ will hold a Winter Solstice service at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 15. The Blooming Grove United Church of Christ is handicapped-accessible and is located at the corner of Route 94 and Old Dominion Road in Blooming Grove. For more information, call 496-9311.
