Telethon raises $10,650 for Winslow Therapeutic Riding

Warwick - Local TV/radio personality Dick Wells and Christine Tawpash, executive director of Winslow Therapeutic Center, emceed a six-hour telethon on Sunday, April 29, in the studios of Warwick Valley High School for the benefit of the non-profit organization. Broadcast live by both Cablevision and Warwick Valley Communications, the event raised $10, 650 in pledges. Winslow Therapeutic Center has been offering unique and often life-changing horseback riding experiences to children and adults in this community since 1974. For information call 986-6686.
