On Aug. 9, Albert Wisner Public Library hosted a teen scavenger hunt in the Village of Warwick with the cooperation of the Warwick Historical Society and the Warwick Independent Business Alliance. The hunt had teams of young adults who answered questions by following clues and riddles throughout town, historical buildings and the library. The winning team of Anne and Elise Pennington and Kristen and Ashley Rowe received $100. All teams received small prizes and coupons. A special thanks to Michael McDermott of The Book Store, Carol Bartnowski and the Inkwell, Frank Petrucci and Country Chevy, Amy Sampson and Mt. Peter Ski Area, and Sue Gardner, Sybil and Elizabeth Skinner and Melissa Bellantone of the Historical Society for their volunteer help and use of the historical buildings.
