Take the bus to the beach

Greenwood Lake - The Warwick Town Beach at the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park is now open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Town Board also has announced a summer bus service on Monday and Thursdays, according to the following schedule: Bus to Town Beach in Greenwood Lake Monday and Thursday Florida (Village Drive): 11 a.m. Pine Island (Citgo): 11:15 a.m. Warwick (CVS): 11:30 a.m. Greenwood Lake (CVS): 11:45 a.m. Arrive Town Beach: noon Depart Town Beach: 4 p.m. The cost is $1 each way or $.50 for senior citizens. Beach fee admission is $3 daily for a town resident, $7 for a non-resident or a senior pass is $25 for the summer. The beach has had numerous renovations and town officials are urging residents to take advantage of them in this setting on Greenwood Lake.
